Method

Add the gin, ruby port, lemon juice, cinnamon syrup, and cranberry preserves to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal, and shake hard until the outside of the shaker is very frosty — about 15 seconds.

Fill a chilled rocks glass with crushed or cracked ice.

Strain the cocktail into the rocks glass over the crushed ice.

Slap the mint sprig across your palm to release the oils, drop it into the glass, and skewer the blackberry and raspberry on a pick to rest across the rim.
